  • We offer the Toulouse Food & History Tour with a Chef, which is a guided small-group walking tour. It allows you to discover and taste the foundational ingredients and recipes of Southwestern French cuisine, while discovering the historic neighborhoods of Carmes and Saint-Etiénne.

  • The tour lasts 3.5 hours.

  • Since you’ll be on your feet for most of the tour, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing.

  • The tour costs 110€ per person.

  • The tour takes place in the city center, in the neighborhoods of Carmes, Saint Étienne, and Saint Georges. The specific meeting location and time will be sent to you via email along with the order confirmation.

  • The tour is designed for adults, but teenagers who have an interest in food are welcome to join.

  • Yes, we can accommodate various diets with advance notice, including vegetarian, pescatarian, no pork, gluten-free, and options for pregnant women and non-alcoholic.

  • The tour is offered in English (10 AM) and Spanish (4 PM), never simultaneously, to ensure a smooth experience and full understanding of all participants.

  • Tickets are refundable or exchangeable up to 24 hours before the tour starts. Changes must be communicated in writing to alejandro@toulousegourmettour.com

  • Our 3.5-hour journey unfolds through the historic Carmes and Saint-Étienne quarters and is conducted outdoors. We do not operate in rainy conditions. Your tour will be confirmed after the purchase. However, should the forecast predict rain for your tour date, we will contact you to reschedule or cancel. If cancellation occurs, a full refund will be processed at no extra charge.

  • We accept credit/debit cards through Stripe payments.

  • You can book directly on our website through our TicketingHub booking engine.

  • Yes, we encourage you to leave us a review on Google and/or TripAdvisor.

  • We offer small group tours to ensure health safety and provide hand sanitizer before each sampling. Masks are also available upon request.

  • All food and drink samples are included in the tour price. Most of our guests feel comfortably full after the tour and don't feel the need for lunch afterward.

  • Any additional food and drinks that you wish to purchase yourself are not included.

  • We require a minimum of 2 people to run a tour. If you are booking for one person, you can either:

    Purchase 2 tickets and write “single booking” for the 2nd participant. If we receive more bookings for that date, we’ll refund you for the second ticket.

    Contact us with your preferred date, and we can inform you if there are alternative dates available or if anyone else is interested in that date.

  • We start tasting within 30 minutes of the start of the tour. If you need to eat something before the tour, we recommend a light snack.

  • Yes, you will have the opportunity to try some wine. However, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle if you would like to drink water during the tour.

  • Absolutely! During the checkout process, select the “Non-alcoholic” option under Dietary Restrictions, and we will arrange for a delicious substitute beverage for you.

  • No, the legal drinking age in France is 18, and we strictly adhere to this law.
